Bibliography & Referencing

Citing sources is an important step in the research process. By doing so you will acknowledge the ideas/words/concepts of someone else, and you will avoid committing plagiarism.

There are various referencing models used around the world. In our school, we use APA (American Psychology Association 6th Edition) and MLA (Modern Languages Association, 7th Edition).

Citing in APA Format:

APA format (American Psychology Association) is a referencing format mostly used for papers written in social sciences and psychology. See below for information on how to cite books, websites, magazines, databases, encyclopedias, maps, newspapers, and films, as well as what a sample referencing page would look like.

Here in school we are using the 8th edition.
