As a way to integrate P.E into the grade two unit of inquiry “Who we are”, students of the Elementary School of Ras Beirut were divided into two groups: the unhealthy and healthy groups. Students from each group wear different vests. The catcher from the unhealthy group tries to tag the healthy ones and make them add a fat cell (a yellow ball) in their vests! In order to lose these fat cells, the players must exercise and accomplish different physical engagements. The goal of this game is to raise student awareness about making healthy choices and living an active lifestyle.
