Students and teachers were very busy being part of Code.org’s global initiative “The Hour of Code.” Many classes have been logging in, learning and trialing their coding skills. The students learn what an algorithm is and how to achieve an end product by following simple steps. It is very clear that this learning is vital so all students have an understanding of code and how our society connects through online platforms. It is also very clear how much fun the students are having experimenting and no doubt they will continue their new-found fun at home too! Why not try it out for yourself at www.code.org.
