"Oral Health, Overall Health"
Posted 01/08/2016 08:03AM

Ain Aar Grade2 and CE1 students attended a presentation about “Proper Dental Hygiene”.  Dr. Sandra Mansour Zouain gave an interesting lecture on teeth function and care.  Without teeth we cannot chew crunchy foods like carrots, nuts, and apples. Without teeth we cannot pronounce all the alphabet since most sounds are made by using the teeth, tongue, and lips.  This is why caring for our teeth is as important as taking care of our body.  Dr. Zouain explained what a cavity is, what happens if we get one, and how we keep from getting one.

Remember, “You don’t have to brush all your teeth – just the ones you want to keep”!
