AIN AAR CAMPUS

Surrounded by pine trees and nestled in the hills above Beirut, the Ain Aar campus serves students from early childhood through middle school in a serene, secure, and spacious environment. Purpose-built to provide a nurturing setting for younger learners, the campus features bright and well-equipped classrooms, labs, specialized areas for the arts and sciences, an auditorium, STEAM labs, outdoor playgrounds, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, and athletic fields. Its calm atmosphere, combined with sweeping views and abundant natural light, makes it an ideal place for children to grow, explore, and thrive.

BEIRUT CAMPUS

Located in the heart of Ras Beirut, our historic campus blends heritage with innovation. Home to IC’s iconic landmark, the Beirut campus reflects more than a century of educational legacy. Nestled within a vibrant urban neighborhood, the campus offers a dynamic mix of modern classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and arts and athletics facilities, all within walking distance of cultural institutions and the American University of Beirut. THE PHYSICAL PLANT TEAM OVERSEES THE DAILY OPERATION AND UPKEEP OF ALL CAMPUS FACILITIES, INCLUDING CLASSROOMS, ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES, ATHLETIC SPACES AND COMMON AREAS. THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES RANGE FROM PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, AND HVAC SYSTEMS TO CARPENTRY, PAINTING, LANDSCAPING AND CUSTODIAL CARE. THROUGH REGULAR INSPECTIONS AND PROACTIVE PLANNING, THE TEAM ENSURES THAT EVERY SPACE MEETS THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF SAFETY, COMFORT AND FUNCTIONALITY.

ATHLETICS FACILITIES

MULTI-PURPOSE GYMNASIUMS

Spacious indoor gymnasiums equipped for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and other team sports. The gym features bleachers for spectators, professional flooring, and high-quality lighting ideal for both practice and competition.

OUTDOOR SPORTS FIELDS

Located on campus, these full-size turf fields support soccer, track and field, and other outdoor sports. It’s also used for school-wide events, fitness and recreational play.

AUDITORIUMS

Our campuses feature fully equipped auditoriums designed to host a wide range of school and community events. With crystal-clear audio and wide-angle HD cameras, these systems ensure that remote participants can see and hear every part of the lesson with clarity. Whether used during online learning periods, parent meetings, or virtual guest lectures, the technology bridges physical distance and promotes inclusion, continuity, and flexibility.

XEROX EDUCATIONAL CONTINUITY BACKUP SYSTEMS

To safeguard teaching and learning against potential disruptions, IC has invested in high-capacity XEROX educational backup systems. These systems allow for the quick and secure printing, scanning, and duplication of learning materials in the event of internet outages or platform interruptions. Teachers can instantly distribute physical resources, ensuring that students' learning continues uninterrupted, even under challenging circumstances. This proactive infrastructure reflects IC’s commitment to preparedness and academic continuity.

INFIRMARIES

Each campus is equipped with a fully staffed medical clinic, overseen by doctors and qualified school nurses and health professionals. These clinics are designed to provide immediate care for everyday health concerns, minor injuries, or sudden illnesses. In addition to first aid and health monitoring, the clinics manage student health records, medication administration, and wellness screenings in accordance with school policies and Ministry of Health guidelines. Nurses collaborate closely with parents, school counselors and the wellbeing coordinator to support students’ physical and emotional wellbeing.

SECURITY MEASURES

IC maintains a comprehensive security framework across both campuses. Controlled access points, professional security personnel, and surveillance systems ensure that only authorized individuals can enter the school grounds. All visitors must check in through a formal identification and registration process. Regular security drills and staff and faculty training sessions ensure a culture of alertness and preparedness, while our discreet, friendly security presence helps maintain a welcoming atmosphere without compromising safety.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FEATURES

IC is equipped with robust emergency preparedness systems and protocols to respond effectively to a range of scenarios, including fire, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and other crises. Clearly marked evacuation routes, alarm systems, and fire extinguishers are present throughout both campuses. Regular drills are conducted for students and staff to practice safe and orderly evacuations. IC also has an established crisis management team, emergency communication systems, and detailed contingency plans that prioritize student safety and educational continuity in times of disruption.

LEED CERTIFICATION

IC is proud to hold LEED certification. Being LEED certified aligns with our mission to lead by example and instill in our students a respect for the planet and an understanding of their role in preserving it.

SOLAR ENERGY

The installation of solar panels across our campuses provides a clean, renewable source of energy, significantly reducing our reliance on non-renewable resources and lowering our carbon emissions.
