WELLBEING

At IC, wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that a thriving educational environment is one where individuals feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow, academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our commitment to wellbeing extends across all aspects of school life and is rooted in a culture of care, respect, and connection.

We define wellbeing as the state of being healthy in body, mind, and spirit. We see it as a collective responsibility and an essential foundation for learning, teaching, and living together as a community.

Our approach is proactive and holistic, nurturing every student's and staff member’s sense of:

  • Belonging – feeling seen, valued, and included

  • Purpose – finding meaning in daily experiences and long-term goals

  • Resilience – developing the tools to face life’s challenges with confidence

  • Connection – building positive relationships with peers, teachers, and the broader community

Your wellbeing matters. We're just a conversation away.

By fostering positive relationships and encouraging personal growth, it supports students in becoming confident, compassionate, and well-rounded individuals both inside and outside the classroom.

STANDING UP AGAINST BULLYING: OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH POWER OF ZERO

We are proud to be a partner school with Power of Zero, a global initiative that empowers young children to navigate the digital world with kindness, respect, and empathy. Through this partnership, we reinforce our commitment to building a safe, inclusive, and respectful school culture, on campus and online.

Together with Power of Zero, we:

Raise awareness about bullying, including cyberbullying and digital citizenship

Equip students with empathy-building tools through age-appropriate lessons and stories

Conduct classroom activities that promote positive communication and peer respect

Support parents and educators with resources that reinforce the same values at home and in the classroom

This initiative is part of our broader mission to ensure every student feels safe, heard, and valued.
