A COMPREHENSIVE SECURITY FRAMEWORK
IC operates under a multi-layered security model designed to proactively address safety needs and respond efficiently to any incident. This model includes:
OUR GUARDS: MORE THAN JUST SECURITY
Our security guards are more than uniformed personnel, they are trusted members of the IC community. Professionally trained in conflict de-escalation, emergency response, and child safeguarding, our guards act with calm authority, empathy, and discretion. Many are long-standing members of the IC team and are well-known to students and families by name.
Their responsibilities include:

Welcoming and assisting students and parents at arrival and dismissal

Patrolling campus grounds and buildings

Monitoring real-time security systems

Responding to incidents or emergencies

Collaborating with administrative and physical plant teams

Supporting school events, field trips, and large gatherings
Through daily interactions and their visible presence, IC guards help foster a sense of comfort, order, and trust.
TRAINING AND PREPAREDNESS
Our security personnel participate in regular training sessions covering:
