INFIRMARY

IC’s nursing and medical staff provide comprehensive healthcare services that go beyond emergency care. Their work includes preventive measures, curative interventions, and health education. Nurses maintain meticulous and up-to-date student files to ensure proactive and personalized care, always reviewing medical histories before administering any medication. In cases of illness or accidents, students receive prompt and thorough attention, with parents kept informed at every stage. The healthcare team also actively engages students through class visits, hygiene sessions, and health assemblies, fostering a strong culture of health and wellbeing across the school community.

Before the start of the school year, parents are required to complete the IC health record, providing detailed information about their child’s medical history. Additionally, all students benefit from a comprehensive 24-hour accident insurance policy, ensuring their safety and wellbeing both on and off campus.

Ten Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are strategically placed throughout the infirmaries, departments, and playgrounds for immediate access in case of an emergency.
