Local Tournaments

IC Middle School
The Middle School Tournament is a multi-sport competition designed for student-athletes in Grades 5 through 8. It features a series of organized games in basketball, soccer, volleyball, and badminton, bringing together schools from across the region.
This tournament is an important platform for young athletes to gain experience, build team spirit, and compete in a safe and respectful environment. It emphasizes participation, development, and sportsmanship laying the foundation for athletic growth at a grassroots level. With a strong focus on fair play and positive engagement, the Middle School Tournament encourages students to explore their athletic potential through this meet.

IC Alton Reynolds
Many often wonder about the name behind this tournament; Who was Alton Reynolds?
In memory of the late Alton L. Reynolds, President of International College from 1977 to 1986, we honor his lasting impact on our institution. A true educator and visionary, Mr. Reynolds transformed the elementary program, strengthened the connection between teachers, students, and parents, and left an enduring legacy in education. He was also one of the key figures in establishing ICAA as we know it today.
His dedication to education and student development continues to inspire us, and through this tournament, we celebrate his vision and contribution to IC.

Ministry of Education
The Ministry of Education Tournament is the official sports competition organized by the Lebanese Ministry of Education. It brings together schools from across the country in a structured and highly competitive national meet in various sports. The tournament is divided into regional qualifiers, where schools compete within their designated geographic areas. The winning teams from each region advance to the national finals, where they face off to determine the official Lebanese Schools Champion in each sport.

Jr. NBA
The Jr. NBA Tournament, organized by the Lebanese American University (LAU), is a youth basketball competition designed for Under-14 boys and girls. The tournament mirrors the official NBA format, offering a dynamic and engaging experience for young athletes. Participating schools go through an NBA-style draft, where each team is assigned an official NBA franchise identity, including jerseys and branding. The competition is divided into Eastern and Western Conferences, with teams competing within their conference before advancing to the championship final, where the two conference winners face off. In addition to league games, the Jr. NBA tournament features exciting side events such as: Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest, & Half-Court Shot Competition.
International Tournaments

International College is a proud full member of the Near Eastern Schools Athletic Conference (NESAC). The conference comprises seven full member schools:

In addition, NESAC welcomes several associate member schools that participate in selected events and competitions.
IC is committed to being an active and engaged member of NESAC, consistently upholding its standards and participating in all designated sports throughout the academic year. Each year, over 300 IC student-athletes proudly represent the school in NESAC tournaments, competing in a positive and spirited environment against peer schools across the region.
We are also honored to host NESAC events at our facilities annually, providing a platform for international collaboration and exposure.
