ART
At International College, art is far more than a subject; it is a vital expression of our students’ creativity, individuality, and understanding of the world around them. Through our comprehensive visual arts program, students explore a diverse range of media, techniques, and artistic traditions that broaden their perspectives and foster their creative confidence.

From Early Childhood through Secondary School, art education at IC nurtures curiosity and imagination. Young learners are encouraged to experiment with color, texture, and form, building foundational skills while developing an appreciation for artistic expression. As students progress, they engage in more advanced studies of visual arts, learning to analyze and interpret artworks, explore cultural contexts, and apply critical thinking to their creations.

Our Middle and High School programs provide opportunities to refine techniques across various disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital arts. Students are guided to discover their unique artistic voices while developing discipline, resilience, and the ability to convey complex ideas visually.
IB Visual Art Exhibition
For students in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, the IB Visual Arts course offers a rigorous and enriching journey. It challenges them to investigate artistic traditions from around the world, develop technical mastery, and produce a cohesive body of work that reflects their personal interests, cultural understanding, and conceptual thinking. The program culminates in the IB Visual Arts Exhibition, where senior students curate and present their final portfolios to the school community and external evaluators. This exhibition is a celebration of their dedication, growth, and artistic achievements, offering them a professional gallery experience and an opportunity to communicate their vision and narrative to a wider audience.
Art at IC is not only about creating, it's about empowering students to observe deeply, think critically, and engage meaningfully with the world. It is an integral part of our mission of our mission to inspire learners to become compassionate, confident, and creative leaders in every field they choose to puruse.
