EARLY CHILDHOOD
At IC, our Early Childhood Centers on both the Ain Aar and Ras Beirut campuses provide a caring, vibrant, and inspiring start to our students’ educational journey. Grounded in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), our approach nurtures young learners’ natural curiosity and fosters their social, emotional, and cognitive development through purposeful play and inquiry-based learning. Daily Life and Routines
Each day at IC’s Early Childhood is filled with purposeful learning and meaningful moments. Children start their mornings with warm greetings and circle time, followed by engaging activities in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based centers. Their day also includes outdoor play, specialist classes in music, library, and PE, as well as nutritious snacks and lunch, creating a balanced rhythm that supports their holistic development.

Play is at the heart of our Early Childhood philosophy. Through play-based learning, children build critical thinking, language, social, and motor skills in a natural and joyful way. Curriculum Overview
As part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), our Early Childhood curriculum fosters inquiry-based learning and holistic development. Children engage in transdisciplinary units that integrate languages, math, science, arts, and personal and social education, helping them build understanding of themselves and their world.
