College Preparatory Program
The College Preparatory Program is a state-of-the-art blended learning seven-year program beginning in grade 6 in the English section. By the end of grade 10, students who opt to remain in the CPP program for the next two years continue to freshman year at university. Students admitted into this program must hold a foreign passport and secure permission from the Ministry of Education.
In 2020, IC began to align the Massachusetts State standards for all its CPP classes and redistributed them to every subject to accommodate IC’s needs, essentially providing teachers and students with clear expectations for what all students should know and be able to do by the end of the year.
Using the International Baccalaureate program’s ATLs skills (thinking, social, communication, self-management, and research skills), CPP’s student-centered teaching and learning approaches include various interdisciplinary projects that culminate in service-learning activities in real-life situations. The aim is to produce future leaders able to solve real-life problems and make needed changes.

CPP aims to engage students in their own learning, help them develop agency, and equip them with the necessary 21st-century skills to become global citizen leaders for real and digitalized societies.

At the heart of the curriculum is the inclusion of Ed Tech and ICT (Information and Communications Technology), creating a high quality teaching and learning blended program.
