COLLEGE COUNSELING

IC prepares its students to become lifelong learners and active, responsible citizens. Once graduated, they can continue their studies anywhere in the world.  Our students leave IC to attend universities in Lebanon and many other countries. 

IC has a near-100% college acceptance rate to the three leading universities in Lebanon: the American University of Beirut, the Lebanese American University, and Saint Joseph University.  IC also has a very high college acceptance rate internationally, with recent graduates getting accepted at top universities including Stanford University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, UC Berkeley, University of Pennsylvania, Yale University, Imperial College London, Kings College London, McGill University, and Sciences Po.

Applying to colleges and universities is an exciting and self-reflecting experience which gives you a chance to look at who you are, what you value, and decide what to do with your life.  It can also be a complicated, demanding, and time-consuming process. IC counselors help guide, support, and counsel students and parents as they research schools, make choices, select and visit universities, and complete applications.

The IC college counselors offer guidance on college searches, using internet resources, college essay writing, SAT testing, managing application timelines and other important factors.  Throughout the year, admission representatives from universities around the world travel to IC to meet students.
