The College may approve an advance to an employee’s salary on an exceptional basis for the following reasons: to cover expenses for university fees, hospitalization, the death of an immediate family member, or any other family emergency, and to expedite an employee’s purchase of technology equipment (i.e. computer, smart phone, tablet, etc.). Employees who have completed the probationary period are eligible to apply for an advance. Advances of salary are extended to employees on an interest-free basis. The Advance Request Form must be submitted in writing according to the procedures outlined by the President.
