To learn all that you can and help others learn about Middle Ages customs and manners, you will become an expert in just one of these five areas:
recipes and the cooking of food (The Cookbook); |
table manners and etiquette (Book of Table Manners and Etiquette); |
floor plan of the dining area, where to sit, and how the table would be set for the diners (The Dining Hall); |
presentation of the food and the serving of it (Food Presentation and Serving); |
what to wear (Fashion and Costume). |
Join a group and research one of the above topics to become “Feast Experts” in your chosen area.
Then your group will give a report and teach others about your area of expertise in Middle Ages practices and customs.
Your group can report in one of these ways:
Make and give a short HyperStudio or Power Point presentation. |
Prepare a booklet using any word processing or publishing program. Then present it in an oral report. |
