The library Ain Aar Elementary/Middle School looks out on a spectacular view
of the Mediterranean and Beirut far, far below. But, as Librarian Nouhad Chalita
say, students hardly notice the view – there are far too many good books to
attract their attention. Students of AAEM are voracious readers, and the library
is always busy with students borrowing books. Nouhad runs a library program for
all of Upper Elementary and the first two levels of Middle School. Teachers who
wish to book library time for special projects, especially at the upper levels,
should plan with Nouhad at least a week in advance.
