The objective of this workshop is to enrich literary works with connections to other literary genres, movies, etc… from different areas. The workshop facilitator will propose links between the classic Greek tragedy "King Oedipus" and "My Oedipus Complex", a modern British short story by Frank O' Connor; the 19th century novel Jane Eyre and the contemporary Wide Sargasso Sea; the Chilean Pablo Neruda's love poetry and the Italian movie "Il Postino"; finally the American novel Fahrenheit 451 and the Egyptian movie "Al Maseer." Participants will propose links of their own.
