International College financial aid program is funded partly by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) (http://www.usaid.gov/lb). More than 120 students are benefitting yearly from U.S. financial assistance provided by USAID. IC acknowledges its beneficiary students about the assistance they received in person.
This year, the financial aid received from USAID is $500,000 and benefited 120 Students (year 2010-2011). This was made possible with the support of the American people towards education.
In partnership with the Lebanese people, USAID works to improve their lives through development projects that foster stability and democracy. Among its diverse development projects, USAID supports Lebanon’s education sector to improve student achievement and provide job options for today’s youth. This partnership between the people of America and Lebanon dates back to 1951, and continues in strength today.
